Hello,
Families, I hope everybody is doing well. Today starts the first day of hybrid learning. We also get to start Season B-D off season workouts. We will start these off season workouts tomorrow, but this will all depend on weather. Please have your student athlete check with that coach to see if we will have the off season workout tomorrow.
The purpose of these off season workouts will be for us to continue to develop as athletes, keep an eye on grades, keep building our culture and build our players up as young men and women.
We are very excited to hold these off season workouts to really develop our players. We really encourage our student athletes who play a sport during season B-D to do off season workouts and I wanted to be in contact with parents and guardians regarding the workouts for Season B-D starting September 8th.
Here are some guidelines for our student athletes while participating in the workouts.
We will be in stage 3 of practices (stage three is what we left off with during summer workouts).
-
We will need to do the COVID player checklist for each practice regarding symptoms.
-
We will need to do temperature checks before practice
-
We will need to make sure we social distance, wear masks etc..
-
Through October 16th, athletes will be allowed a maximum of three workouts per week. Dual athletes must work with coaches to share time.
-
No weekend workouts
-
If students did not participate in summer workouts, they will need to present a signed waiver before beginning workouts. Here is that form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfleLQEULyvIt8tdPaYW5wrI7VmCVDHfGz3rAg0DVJ9xvR8mQ/viewform?usp=sf_link
-
Each player will need to have an individual water bottle. Once your season comes we will give them a reusable water bottle.
-
As of right now, we cannot be inside to do workouts. The district has not approved any indoor workouts.
-
Please understand, these policies are very fluid and can change depending on new information and circumstances.
Thank you for your support
Dan
